Carers Info

We hope this page will support and guide you as a new or current carer. When the person you love or know becomes unwell or unfit, someone has to care and support that person...is that person you? If so you have become a Carer – do YOU need support?

Call our Helpline to advise you about all the services we offer such as: Helpline, Drop in centre, Support groups in your area, Advocacy, Counselling, form filling service, Carers Calling Carers, Keeping Carers Healthy, Young Carers and encouraging GP’s to support Carers. Furthermore we can signpost you to emergency respite, benefits, employment or training.

Do you need some respite? Call Carewatch on 01702 557955 or 01702 557007 for 36 free hours a year respite. Also don't forget to ask your GP for a prescription break.

Have you had a carers assessment? Call 01702215008 to get an assessment for direct payments and personal budget.
